Heungkuk Life Insurance won a set score 3-0 in the match against Pepper Savings Bank in the Dodram 2022-2023 V-League Women’s Division held at Incheon Samsan Gymnasium on the 15th.

“It is true that I am 36 years old in Korean age and have played volleyball for a long time,” he said.

Kim Yeon-kyung, who started her professional career by joining Heungkuk Life Insurance in 2005, conquered the V-League and started her career in Japan in 2009, playing in the Turkish and Chinese leagues and making a name for herself as a world-class outside hitter.

While playing for the national team for 17 years, she opened the golden age of Korean women’s volleyball, leading the ‘four-final myth’ of the 2012 London Olympics and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She announced her retirement from the national team after the Tokyo Olympics, but she is reuniting with volleyball fans as she returns to her Heungkuk Life Insurance this season after living abroad.
